so I guess I (and in turn WE), will be trying out a gluten free diet next week.
can I even survive that?
the nutritionist that I went to was the nicest women ever, and drew me pictures of how the body works when you eat. so interesting. I'm excited to hopefully feel better, and as a side effect be healthy.

Monday through Friday go by so fast.
When Nate asks me "What did you do today?"
I seriously have to sit and think for about ten minutes before I even answer him.
I've never looked forward to a weekend more than I have this semester(and will next semester).
7 months til i'm done with school.
8 months til we move.
I've been looking more and more at jobs near Denver,
and get so excited.
I feel as though I'll have so many options on which direction my career could go.
And I feel like such an adult that I just wrote that sentence.
It's such an awesome feeling to love life,
and love the possibilities.
Time goes by so fast.

yesterday marked 3 years. that's crazy.
this semester is about 1/2 over, and that's such a weird feeling.
I've been very self reflective lately.
And I'm finally taking steps towards being healthy

So I had to come up with an Artists profile for the upcoming festival, this is what I ended up with:
"Jill MacCormack is a Photographer and Social Work graduate student in Rhode Island, transplanted from upstate New York. She expresses her passion for social justice and the human experience through her abstract interpretation of the natural scenes she captures on film. Jill also uses photography to help her to further understand her environment by allowing her to emotionally connect with each frame, and hopes to help others do the same."
It's sort of exciting to be slowly getting back into something I love, and having things that I've been thinking about since high school come to fruition.

I've been meeting the nicest kind-hearted people lately.
And in the most unexpected places.
I also felt really pumped on social work during class tonight.

but I guess the "why" isn't the important part.

Well, I'm back from Colorado, sadly.

After being there, I know that's what my next step will be.
Everything about it feels right.
I felt inspired.
I felt motivated.
I felt a sense of peace.
This year is going to fly by.
The next chapter of life will lived out in Colorado.

- I didn't make it onto American Idol..but had fun trying
- I officially got my 2nd year field placement at the ACI
- I have a table at the Providence Indie Arts Fest on July 18th (selling my photos)
- Nate's case has blown up and is getting more ridiculously crazy by the day

June:
1st weekend: relax in RI
2nd weekend: AI try outs, Annie and Josh come to visit
3rd weekend: NY for fathers day, my daddys B-day
4th weekend: some show at the casino with a bunch of my family
July:
1st weekend: NY for 4th of July party
2nd weekend: camping in NY (with Jess & Justin in tow)
3rd weekend: ELTON JOHN & BILLY JOEL!!! (with Blythie and Janine)
4rd weekend: my birthday weekend (with my family at Misquamicut beach)
August:
1st weekend: unplanned
2nd, 3rd, 4th weekend: CO, NV, UT, CA
5th weekend: unplanned
One of those unplanned weekends will most likely be a trip to Philly!

I'm just stoked (yes, unfortunately I used that word) on life.
so hard.
So many awesome things are going on.
Annie (M.) is coming to visit, and hopefully Josh too.
We'll be trying out for American Idol next week; and I'm going to blame everything on dairy.
I had so much fun with Rae and Amanda last weekend.
Chad is back on the correct coast.
Definitely bought a year pass to the RI state beaches.
I love smiling.

Rae is coming to RI again this weekend to hang out!
and Brooklyn last weekend was the most fun filled weekend i've had in a while.
(although I did miss seeing you, Boogie)
I love the nice weather.
I love looking forward to Colorado(both for vacation this August, and a move next Sept)
I love that I might be getting a field placement at the Dept. of Corrections.
I love my Trauma class (and have learned more in 3 weeks than in my entire 1st year of grad school)
I love.

i've been too lazy/busy with other things to update lj.
but this weekend i'll post all of the photos from my trip.
only 4 or 5 more weeks of school,
then i'll be (more than)halfway done!
life goes by so fast.
when we go to colorado this summer,
we're renting a car for the 2nd week and taking a road trip.
no clear plans, just driving, enjoying life.
preferably with no shoes on.
